Colbros were engaged to undertake the electrical design and construct works at the new Calyx function centre in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.
A Colbros initiative was to change the standard warm white colour scheme to a fully programmable, dimmable and colour changing system.
This now lent the building to a whole range of more diverse uses including participation in the annual Sydney Vivid festival and also made it more attractive as a display or function space.
This new concept and re design initiative was fully accepted and greatly appreciated by the client.
Colbros’s work on this project included design, certification, commissioning, installation of lighting, lighting control systems, power, main switch board, distribution boards, security, dry fire, audio visual, communications and data systems.
